We are looking for highly motivated Ph.D. students to join our team. IITJ provides an interdisciplinary academic atmosphere with interactions with experts in the field of Biological Sciences and Engineering. The research facility at IITJ provides all the necessary equipment including state-of-the-art microscopy and flow cytometry core facility. As part of our team, you will be trained in critical thinking, experimentation, scientific paper writing, grant application writing, and exposed to regular conference visits with poster presentations. If you are hardworking, meticulous, organized, and would like a challenging and rewarding experience as a Ph.D. student, we want to hear from you.

Ph.D. students are selected generally by the IITJ selection process. But if you have a fellowship of CSIR-NET/UGC-NET/DST-INSPIRE/DBT, then we can offer you a research scholar position and later convert you as a Ph.D. student. We also highly encourage students to apply for Govt. of India Fellowships like PMRF for Ph.D. students. It is advisable to check the IITJ website regularly.
