Nidhi Sharma

Nidhi is currently doing her Post-doc at Karolinska Institute, Sweden. She was one of the first Ph.D. students to join our lab and contributed immensely to establish our lab.

 

My Lab Experience 

“Being the first lab student, my Ph.D. journey was filled with valuable learnings and enriched experiences, starting from the lab set-up, troubleshooting, and optimization of different molecular biology techniques, lab management, and scientific progress. Dr. Jha is a passionate research enthusiast and excellent planner, always open to discussions and new research ideas. She always encouraged me to research collaborations, grant applications, share research on international platforms, and attend workshops to improve my scientific communication and research management skills. Our mutual passion for science served as a strong foundation for my fruitful Ph.D. research journey. My experience at IIT Jodhpur completely transformed both as an individual and researcher. I feel proud to share that I’m now applying my Ph.D. knowledge for my research on Melanoma brain metastasis, as a Postdoctoral fellow at Scilifelaband Karolinska Institute, Sweden. I’m thankful to Dr. Jha and IIT Jodhpur for providing me this scientific platform and helping me grow as a researcher in all scientific domains”
